When Nechifor Predoiu came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the The Squad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nechifor Predoiu couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind DinamoStars's goalkeeper Valer Enișteanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 25 played minutes The Squad got a freekick which was hit by Adam Poplăcan. In the 28th minute Mihail Tărău shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valer Enișteanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nechifor Predoiu struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Valer Enișteanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Squad. Dacian Vrejiu hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Mihail Tărău ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valer Enișteanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Nechifor Predoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Mihail Tărău got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nechifor Predoiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mihail Tărău received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Valer Enișteanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 55thth minute of the game Mihail Tărău who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DinamoStars's Valer Enișteanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nechifor Predoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valer Enișteanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nechifor Predoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the game, Dacian Vrejiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DinamoStars's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Squad the free kick. After 63 played minutes DinamoStars got a freekick which was hit by Dacian Vrejiu. In the 67th minute, Vasile Ogică hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leontin Mitrofan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Șerban Stroe made a huge save. In the 70th minute Leontin Mitrofan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Șerban Stroe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Mihail Tărău managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Squad's supporters rose to their feet, but Mihail Tărău was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valer Enișteanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Mihail Tărău put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Valer Enișteanu. Nechifor Predoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valer Enișteanu having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the The Squad players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
