Nucet's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sau CSS the free kick. A collision led to Nucet getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Toader Alexiu hit a great ball. Leonard Găman kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Tudor Ionașcu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gică Mirciu charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gică Mirciu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gică Mirciu kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. When Nucet's Tudor Ionașcu in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sau CSS's goalie prevented a goal. Ciprian Iorga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tudor Ionașcu in the 21st minute of the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrei Milescu couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mircea Stegaru in the 38th minute of play forced Sau CSS's goalkeeper Ciprian Iorga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Mircea Stegaru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nucet's supporters rose to their feet, but Mircea Stegaru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciprian Iorga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Sau CSS's zone, Tudor Ionașcu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciprian Iorga came out of the goal and Tudor Ionașcu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Mircea Stegaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
The wind increased when Vali Trifănucă made the kick off in the second half. Petruț Obreja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Nucet getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Emilian Pacuraru hit a great ball. Călin Muja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vali Trifănucă, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. When Mircea Stegaru came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Nucet fans jumped to their feet. Sau CSS's Ciprian Iorga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tudor Ionașcu in the 59th minute of play. If Tudor Ionașcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilian Pacuraru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Ciprian Iorga successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tudor Ionașcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ciprian Iorga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tudor Ionașcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tudor Ionașcu struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Ciprian Iorga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nucet. In the 75th minute, Tudor Ionașcu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ciprian Iorga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tudor Ionașcu in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Tudor Ionașcu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ciprian Iorga. The goal made the score 0-1. In the 85th minute, Nucet's Tudor Ionașcu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Ciprian Iorga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tudor Ionașcu in the 91st minute of the match. A collision led to Sau CSS getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Leonard Găman hit a great ball. Tudor Ionașcu might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciprian Iorga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tudor Ionașcu ran back to his position shaking his head. Nucet's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
