Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) DinamoStars's Leontin Mitrofan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th play minute Ovidiu Dobrin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ernest Arnăuțescu. 1-0. Ernest Arnăuțescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leontin Mitrofan in the 9th minute of the match. The supporters of DinamoStars booed when FC Alex was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Traian Bologa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petru Alexa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Valer Enișteanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernest Arnăuțescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ovidiu Dobrin in the 25th minute. Ovidiu Dobrin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Ernest Arnăuțescu made a huge save. After a rather tough play, DinamoStars's Dacian Vrejiu got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute, Traian Bologa sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and DinamoStars's Valer Enișteanu didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pompiliu Dima in the 36th minute of play forced DinamoStars's goalkeeper Valer Enișteanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petru Alexa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Valer Enișteanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Leontin Mitrofan put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ernest Arnăuțescu. Valer Enișteanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pompiliu Dima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pompiliu Dima to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, FC Alex's goal looked a bit too open when Leontin Mitrofan came free, but Ernest Arnăuțescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petru Alexa scored 2-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valer Enișteanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 63 minutes into the match, FC Alex's goal looked a bit too open when Leontin Mitrofan came free, but Ernest Arnăuțescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Petru Alexa managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Alex's supporters rose to their feet, but Petru Alexa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valer Enișteanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 70 played minutes DinamoStars got a freekick which was hit by Eduard Domnescu. In the 71st minute Pompiliu Dima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valer Enișteanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, FC Alex's goal looked a bit too open when Leontin Mitrofan came free, but Ernest Arnăuțescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pompiliu Dima received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Valer Enișteanu came out and tried to block the shot, but Pompiliu Dima slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 83rd minute. Pompiliu Dima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valer Enișteanu having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, one of DinamoStars:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dorel Iosifian charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dorel Iosifian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 98th minute Leontin Mitrofan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernest Arnăuțescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Alex's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
