Ernest Bara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihail Tărău, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After 12 played minutes The Squad got a freekick which was hit by Silviu Dulfu. Șerban Stroe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niculae Onișoru went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 18 minutes, Nechifor Predoiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Squad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nechifor Predoiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th minute, Ovidiu Nae hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Petru Georgescu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 20th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Mihail Tărău sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mihail Tărău received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ernest Bara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to FC AFC TULCEA getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Cristi Ionașcu hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, FC AFC TULCEA's goal looked a bit too open when Mihail Tărău came free, but Ernest Bara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC AFC TULCEA's Ernest Bara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihail Tărău in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Nechifor Predoiu notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of FC AFC TULCEA's Ernest Bara. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mihail Tărău to make the kick off. The coaching staff of FC AFC TULCEA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gelu Baldu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 60th minute, one of FC AFC TULCEA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC AFC TULCEA. FC AFC TULCEA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Petru Georgescu scored to the left of an out of position Ernest Bara, making the score, 2-3. Mihail Tărău sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in FC AFC TULCEA's zone, Petru Georgescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The Squad's Mihail Tărău got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nechifor Predoiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mihail Tărău sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nechifor Predoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Bara having to interfere.
