If Codruț Curtean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodor Darabonț scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teodor Cozac, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th minute Teodor Darabonț shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodor Cozac saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 minutes, Daniel Tripon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Papa and the Resita Sport Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Daniel Tripon kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After some careless play in the Papa defense, Teodor Darabonț kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teodor Cozac. The Papa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teodor Cozac should have stopped the shot. The Papa fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Resita Sport Club were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
