Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fabian Cârstoiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vali Albu struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Fabian Cârstoiu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borussia Dortmund. Victor Hoancă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Hoancă in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabian Cârstoiu saved Luminis from getting behind. In the 20th minute Victor Hoancă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Cârstoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Luminis getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Felix Calciu hit a great ball. Victor Hoancă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Cârstoiu having to interfere. Fabian Cârstoiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Hoancă in the 45th minute of the match. Luminis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borussia Dortmund the free kick. Borussia Dortmund's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Luminis had won, even though Borussia Dortmund had held more of the ball.
