After 40 played minutes FC.RASNOV got a freekick which was hit by Cosmin Ispas. FC.RASNOV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dan Duca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabriel Ciociu was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Resita Sport Club booed when FC.RASNOV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosmin Ispas didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC.RASNOV's Bilal Raci proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save FC.RASNOV from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Resita Sport Club's Iustin Brădescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bilal Raci. That made the score 1-5 after 98 minutes of play. Resita Sport Club's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
