If Olimpiu Siclovan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 5 minutes, Doru Ciociu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Precupesti CSS and the Pungesti AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Doru Ciociu kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Olimpiu Siclovan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Octav Burileanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Precupesti CSS's goal looked a bit too open when Florin Rareș came free, but Octav Burileanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olimpiu Siclovan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Octav Burileanu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Olimpiu Siclovan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Octav Burileanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Octav Burileanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florin Rareș, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Olimpiu Siclovan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Octav Burileanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21stth minute of the game Florin Rareș who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Precupesti CSS's Octav Burileanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bogdan Hosu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihai Stolnicu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florin Rareș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Precupesti CSS's Octav Burileanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Precupesti CSS from getting a goal against them. With his leg Octav Burileanu managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Pungesti AFC's Olimpiu Siclovan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pungesti AFC's Olimpiu Siclovan got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Florin Rareș came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Pungesti AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florin Rareș couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 38 in the game by Olimpiu Siclovan from a close distance when the talented Octav Burileanu managed to make a qualified save. Precupesti CSS's players were relieved. In the 39th match minute, Pungesti AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cezar Minulescu to maneuver through the defense. Octav Burileanu stood somewhat misplaced when Olimpiu Siclovan came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 44 minute. Florin Rareș recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Mihai Stolnicu made the kick off in the second half. If Olimpiu Siclovan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Octav Burileanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olimpiu Siclovan, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Florin Rareș had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Octav Burileanu. Precupesti CSS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florin Rareș was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 63rd play minutes Florin Rareș shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Octav Burileanu and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 66th match minute, Pungesti AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Abrudan to maneuver through the defense. Olimpiu Siclovan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olimpiu Siclovan struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Octav Burileanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pungesti AFC. The supporters of Pungesti AFC booed when Precupesti CSS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihăiţă Chițac didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florin Rareș took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Octav Burileanu. Octav Burileanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihai Stolnicu in the 92nd minute of play forced Pungesti AFC's goalkeeper Bogdan Hosu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot by Mihăiţă Chițac from long distance, 95 minutes into the match, got Bogdan Hosu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 97 minutes into the game, Ernest Miu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pungesti AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Precupesti CSS the free kick. Pungesti AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
