But to his dismay, Dorin Găvan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Emil Paraschivescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 김 손 in the 16th minute of play. Iustinian Cocârlă scored 1-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emil Paraschivescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maxim Plopeanu in the 20th minute of play forced Pojereni AS's goalkeeper Emil Paraschivescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emil Paraschivescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustinian Cocârlă in the 22nd minute of the match. Emil Paraschivescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nechifor Moromete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emil Paraschivescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxim Plopeanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 33 played minutes Steaua Bucuresti FC got a freekick which was hit by 김 손. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Vlad Paulescu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gabriel Ghercioiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Vlad Paulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emil Paraschivescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pojereni AS's goalkeeper Emil Paraschivescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Pojereni AS defense, Nechifor Moromete kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emil Paraschivescu. The Pojereni AS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emil Paraschivescu should have stopped the shot. The Pojereni AS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Steaua Bucuresti FC were winning 1-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 김 손 to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Iustinian Cocârlă got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 55 minutes into the game, Steaua Bucuresti FC's Nechifor Moromete nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emil Paraschivescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. Maxim Plopeanu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-7. Emil Paraschivescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 김 손, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Emil Paraschivescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxim Plopeanu in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by 김 손 in the 76th minute of play forced Pojereni AS's goalkeeper Emil Paraschivescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vlad Paulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Ghercioiu in the 89th minute of the match. After 94 played minutes Maxim Plopeanu rounded Pojereni AS's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-8. Steaua Bucuresti FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
