After some careless play in the Blackbeard defense, Daniel Chevereșan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Răzvan Gâgea. The Blackbeard fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Răzvan Gâgea should have stopped the shot. In the 24th minute Daniel Chevereșan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Răzvan Gâgea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Chevereșan in the 28th minute of play forced Blackbeard's goalkeeper Răzvan Gâgea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Irinel Zburlea's late challenge caught a St. Pauli -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Răzvan Gâgea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasile Bocaneț in the 37th minute of the match. After 41 minutes of play, St. Pauli -MM-'s Daniel Chevereșan made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Răzvan Gâgea was left in no man's land by his defense there! 45 minutes in the game Cazimir Penaru did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Panait Bârlea. 46 minutes into the match, Daniel Chevereșan notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Blackbeard's Răzvan Gâgea. Răzvan Gâgea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Chevereșan to make the kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Blackbeard's goalkeeper Răzvan Gâgea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Chevereșan got free with Răzvan Gâgea in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sebastian Cristea struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Răzvan Gâgea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for St. Pauli -MM-. 61 minutes into the game, St. Pauli -MM-'s Daniel Chevereșan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Răzvan Gâgea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Răzvan Gâgea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasile Bocaneț in the 65th minute of the match. Răzvan Gâgea acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 66th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Denis Doloman. Vasile Bocaneț's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Răzvan Gâgea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Blackbeard's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Denis Doloman was slow to take the kick. During this time St. Pauli -MM-'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led St. Pauli -MM-'s Denis Doloman to fire away a dangerous shot which Răzvan Gâgea despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Răzvan Gâgea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vasile Bocaneț's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. In the 87th minute, Daniel Chevereșan fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Blackbeard's Răzvan Gâgea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasile Bocaneț in the 91st minute of play. Răzvan Gâgea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Cristea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
