Spectators: 7186 (Terracing: 5636, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sever Moisil started the match with the kick off. Olimpiu Ciuvică blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivan Ţurlău having to make a save. Vali Ciprian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Berca having to interfere. Olimpiu Ciuvică struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Ivan Ţurlău didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tineretului FC. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.S. Stefy Club's goalkeeper Ivan Ţurlău, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, A.S. Stefy Club's goalkeeper Ivan Ţurlău had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mircea Mihele. In the 26th minute, Olimpiu Ciuvică got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marian Cucerdean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ivan Ţurlău tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paul Berca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sever Moisil in the 35th minute of the match. Mircea Mihele's late challenge caught a A.S. Stefy Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mircea Mihele helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of A.S. Stefy Club booed when Tineretului FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mircea Mihele didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tineretului FC's Daniel Calomfirescu got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ivan Ţurlău showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mircea Mihele, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olimpiu Ciuvică was the one to do the kick off. Daniel Calomfirescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ivan Ţurlău tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Marian Cucerdean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, A.S. Stefy Club's goal looked a bit too open when Olimpiu Ciuvică came free, but Ivan Ţurlău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Mircea Mihele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Ţurlău came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Tineretului FC's Olimpiu Ciuvică. But to his dismay, Olimpiu Ciuvică quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Marian Cucerdean took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Ţurlău. Ivan Ţurlău dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. If Olimpiu Ciuvică had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Marian Cucerdean came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Tineretului FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marian Cucerdean couldn't finish the play. Tineretului FC's Marian Cucerdean quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eliodor Dinculescu, made in the 74th minute of the game. Mircea Mihele kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Marian Cucerdean recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mircea Mihele received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Ivan Ţurlău tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 85 minutes, Olimpiu Ciuvică managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tineretului FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olimpiu Ciuvică was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Petrică Donose's late challenge caught a Tineretului FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Petrică Donose helped the player get up and apologised. Petrică Donose kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Ivan Ţurlău showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Calomfirescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 94 minutes into the match, Tineretului FC's goalkeeper Paul Berca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vali Ciprian. When the referee ended the match the Tineretului FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
