Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 0) Aristide Iftimescu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Felix Vasilică showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sever Moisil, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After 11 played minutes Cobiuta got a freekick which was hit by Leontin Porumbescu. If Aristide Iftimescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Stelian Romaşcanu came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Cobiuta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stelian Romaşcanu couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cătălin Damian during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Stelian Romaşcanu took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Ţurlău. Stefy Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for A.S. Stefy Club. After a rather tough play, A.S. Stefy Club's Sever Moisil got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Francisc Stăniloaie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd match minute, Cobiuta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leontin Porumbescu to maneuver through the defense. Felix Vasilică showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vali Ciprian in the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Vali Ciprian made the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute Leontin Porumbescu suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. 60 minutes into the game, Petrică Donose was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.S. Stefy Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cobiuta the free kick. After a rather tough play, A.S. Stefy Club's Petrică Donose got a free kick in the 61st minute. Remus Răducan hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Felix Vasilică didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vali Ciprian went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Stelian Romaşcanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonard Cârjă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Petrică Donose kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Ivan Ţurlău made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stelian Romaşcanu in the 89th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Leonard Cârjă had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivan Ţurlău. A.S. Stefy Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonard Cârjă was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2.
