Spectators: 5895 (Terracing: 4850, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 45) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Doru Hodorog kicked off to start the match. If Stelian Adomniței had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Georgica's Petre Nandriș got a free kick in the 4th minute. Georgica's Manole Finteșteanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantin Bodnar in the 5th minute of play. Edgar Jianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doru Hodorog, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Constantin Bodnar had several of the Georgica's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 9 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Manole Finteșteanu as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 14th minute, Constantin Bodnar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Berbi's Gelu Hurgoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manole Finteșteanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Doru Hodorog in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgar Jianu saved Berbi from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Doru Hodorog's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgar Jianu was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Aurelian Macavei charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aurelian Macavei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Berbi's Aurelian Macavei got a free kick in the 31st minute. A collision led to Berbi getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Eliodor Glăvan hit a great ball. Edgar Jianu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Doru Hodorog's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Manole Finteșteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantin Bodnar in the 40th minute of the match. Edgar Jianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionică Şoltuz, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Berbi's goal looked a bit too open when Stelian Adomniței came free, but Edgar Jianu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 47 played minutes Berbi got a freekick which was hit by Gelu Hurgoi.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Constantin Bodnar to strike the kick off in the second half. From close distance Doru Hodorog pressed in the 1-2 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 54 minutes into the game. Doru Hodorogs short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Edgar Jianu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 62 minutes in the game, Stelian Adomniței fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Edgar Jianu having to interfere. Gelu Hurgoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manole Finteșteanu having to interfere. Manole Finteșteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelian Macavei in the 73rd minute of the match. When Doru Hodorog came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Georgica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doru Hodorog couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Berbi booed when Georgica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marius Pipirig didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Berbi getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Eliodor Glăvan hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doru Hodorog got free with Edgar Jianu in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doru Hodorog in the 94th minute of play forced Berbi's goalkeeper Edgar Jianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Georgica could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Berbi throughout the match.
