Fcsb's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Sportiv Scolar the free kick. After 19 played minutes Fcsb got a freekick which was hit by Augustin Păltineanu. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Doru Vădan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Doru Vădan made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Augustin Păltineanu sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th minute, Fcsb's Augustin Păltineanu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Doru Vădan. Doru Vădan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Doru Vădan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nichifor Alexandroae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Sportiv Scolar's Doru Vădan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustin Păltineanu in the 39th minute of play. A collision led to Club Sportiv Scolar getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Manuel Brad hit a great ball.
