Ciprian Constantinescu struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Costel Glăvan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ciofliceni CF. An unexpected shot in the 7th minute by Romeo Deșliu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Ciofliceni CF's Leontin Rednic got a free kick in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihnea Tase in the 17th minute of play forced Ciofliceni CF's goalkeeper Sebastian Udubaşa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Mădălin Vergulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romeo Deșliu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Costel Glăvan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliodor Covaci hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Maxim Corbu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastian Udubaşa having to make a save. After 34 played minutes Ciofliceni CF got a freekick which was hit by Marian Şania. Sebastian Udubaşa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maxim Corbu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Udubaşa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxim Corbu in the 46th minute of the match. Mihnea Tase blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastian Udubaşa having to make a save. Maxim Corbu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Sebastian Udubaşa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maxim Corbu to make the kick off. When Mihnea Tase came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the WHFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mihnea Tase couldn't finish the play. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by WHFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cezar Chiriloaie was slow to take the kick. During this time Ciofliceni CF's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Cezar Chiriloaie got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Costel Glăvan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 59th minute Ciprian Constantinescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costel Glăvan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romeo Deșliu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Mădălin Vergulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. WHFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mădălin Vergulescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Udubaşa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 65th minute, Maxim Corbu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sebastian Udubaşa. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind WHFC's goalkeeper Costel Glăvan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 80 played minutes Ciofliceni CF got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Deșliu. 83 minutes into the match, Ciofliceni CF's goal looked a bit too open when Maxim Corbu came free, but Sebastian Udubaşa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Ciofliceni CF defense, Maxim Corbu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastian Udubaşa. The Ciofliceni CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastian Udubaşa should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marian Şania during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 87th minute, one of Ciofliceni CF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ciofliceni CF. The referee gave WHFC a penalty, 90 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Isac Savu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ciofliceni CF's Sebastian Udubaşa. 1-4. Ciprian Constantinescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Costel Glăvan having to interfere. The WHFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
