Felix Morozan in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The supporters of Seminar CS booed when CSM Catunele was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Șerban Oblemenco didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Costin Tomoiu was the one to do the kick off. Felix Morozan scored 2-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andrei Arbore, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 60 minutes into the match, Seminar CS's goal looked a bit too open when Șerban Oblemenco came free, but Daniel Piţurcă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Iosif Gorjanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andrei Arbore. CSM Catunele's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iosif Gorjanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Iulian Patrichi managed to get in a good position for a shot. CSM Catunele's supporters rose to their feet, but Iulian Patrichi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Piţurcă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andrei Arbore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costin Tomoiu in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costin Tomoiu in the 76th minute of play forced CSM Catunele's goalkeeper Andrei Arbore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th match minute, CSM Catunele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavius Tulbure to maneuver through the defense. After 86 played minutes, Seminar CS's Iacob Drăgan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Andrei Arbore came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Seminar CS reached it. If Costin Tomoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
