Spectators: 5988 (Terracing: 4749, Seating: 1224, VIP seats: 15) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dinu Lupoaia made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 4 minutes, Florin Răducu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Croft 1's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florin Răducu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stelian Minulescu kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. With his leg Cătălin Bocaneț managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Croft 1's Florin Răducu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 10 minutes, Mădălin Stolojan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pop Impex and the Croft 1 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pop Impex's Mădălin Stolojan got a free kick in the 10th minute. After 12 played minutes Pop Impex got a freekick which was hit by Ionică Vasilian. In the 16th minute, Augustin Plopan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dinu Lupoaia's late challenge caught a Croft 1's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dinu Lupoaia helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Pop Impex getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Dinu Lupoaia hit a great ball. With 24 minutes on the clock, Emanuel Liviu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 24th minute, one of Croft 1:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Croft 1. The supporters of Croft 1 booed when Pop Impex was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Traian Miu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Radu Frumușanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Pop Impex booed when Croft 1 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viorel Mischie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Croft 1's Emilian Bivolaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinu Lupoaia in the 40th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Marin Chiru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th match minute, Pop Impex was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stelian Minulescu to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Pop Impex were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florin Răducu to strike the kick off in the second half. Dinu Lupoaia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emilian Bivolaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinu Lupoaia in the 67th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Radu Frumușanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Croft 1's supporters rose to their feet, but Radu Frumușanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cătălin Bocaneț breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dinu Lupoaia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the game, one of Pop Impex:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 81st minute there was a penalty for Croft 1. Cornel Finteșteanu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cătălin Bocaneț. 1-1.
