Sandu Negulici hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Halalis's Aron Mârzac got a free kick in the 6th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Halalis's zone, Șerban Oblemenco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remus Dinulescu came out of the goal and Șerban Oblemenco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute Nicu Furdui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Dinulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ovidiu Jugănaru kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Șerban Oblemenco in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remus Dinulescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Halalis's Călin Mihăilescu got a free kick in the 38th minute. Ovidiu Jugănaru charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 70th minute, Nicu Furdui got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 72 played minutes CSM Catunele got a freekick which was hit by Mădălin Apetroaiei. 77 minutes into the match, Halalis's goalkeeper Remus Dinulescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicu Furdui. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Halalis were victorious despite being under pressure from CSM Catunele for much of the match.
