Spectators: 7629 (Terracing: 5758, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 105) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dragoş Lupoi kicked off to start the match. Cristinel Bădulescu made in the 6th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Dragoş Lupoi immediately put the ball in play. The supporters of Galata FC booed when SK Marosvavsarhely was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basarab Trăilă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dragoş Lupoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Manuel Isopescu made a huge save. Galata FC's Francisc Vrabie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liviu Bosânceanu in the 12th minute of play. SK Marosvavsarhely's Vlad Orescu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Emanuel Mercescu, made in the 14th minute of the game. The throw-in from Iurie Enoiu in the 17th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SK Marosvavsarhely's Leontin Arotăriței. Manuel Isopescu made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Dragoş Lupoi sent off a good shot on target. 26 minutes into the match, Liviu Bosânceanu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Galata FC's Francisc Vrabie. Francisc Vrabie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Manuel Isopescu made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Dragoş Lupoi sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Galata FC's Emanuel Mercescu got a free kick in the 42nd minute. A collision led to Galata FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Tiberiu Rușanu hit a great ball.

In the 57th match minute, SK Marosvavsarhely was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vlad Orescu to maneuver through the defense. Francisc Vrabie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basarab Trăilă, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Emanuel Mercescu in the 73rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by SK Marosvavsarhely's Manole Tinu. SK Marosvavsarhely's Liviu Bosânceanu got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nechifor Bucuță kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Gavril Dinescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Oravițan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 79th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 84 minutes into the game, SK Marosvavsarhely's Nichifor Petrulean nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francisc Vrabie made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After 95 played minutes SK Marosvavsarhely got a freekick which was hit by Manole Tinu. With a little luck, Galata FC's Francisc Vrabie got control of the ball when Nichifor Petrulean tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded SK Marosvavsarhely left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Galata FC.
