Spectators: 7362 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 85) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cazimir Grecu got the match started through his kick off. When Emil Pancu came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Avantul Sighiartau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emil Pancu couldn't finish the play. Nichifor Moțoc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niculae Mugur in the 14th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Cazimir Grecu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nichifor Moțoc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Avantul Sighiartau's goalkeeper Marius Tutuianu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiberiu Cordescu. Cazimir Grecu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Avantul Sighiartau's Narcis Nițescu got a free kick in the 27th minute. Marius Tutuianu came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by AC Milan's Tiberiu Cordescu. But to his dismay, Tiberiu Cordescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When Emil Pancu fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Avantul Sighiartau's protests and gave Emil Pancu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd match minute, Avantul Sighiartau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Pancu to maneuver through the defense. Marius Tutuianu made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Tiberiu Cordescu sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of AC Milan booed when Avantul Sighiartau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Pancu didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to AC Milan getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Lucian Ionașcu hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Niculae Mugur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emil Pancu struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Nichifor Moțoc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Avantul Sighiartau. Niculae Mugur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Nichifor Moțoc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

After 52 played minutes Avantul Sighiartau got a freekick which was hit by Emil Pancu. Nichifor Moțoc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrei Ghionescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute of the match Luca Ilie sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marius Tutuianu skillfully saved the ball. Emil Pancu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cazimir Grecu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Nichifor Moțoc skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cazimir Grecu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Nichifor Moțoc when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gigel Oțeteleșanu hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Cazimir Grecu might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nichifor Moțoc. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cazimir Grecu ran back to his position shaking his head. 70 minutes into the match, AC Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Andrei Ghionescu came free, but Nichifor Moțoc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Avantul Sighiartau's Emil Pancu got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute Andrei Ghionescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nichifor Moțoc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute Costică Gherasim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marius Tutuianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in AC Milan's zone, Andrei Ghionescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nichifor Moțoc came out of the goal and Andrei Ghionescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cazimir Grecu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 83rd minute Cazimir Grecu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nichifor Moțoc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, AC Milan's Nichifor Moțoc got control of the ball when Emil Pancu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luca Ilie kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrei Ghionescu in the 89th minute of play forced AC Milan's goalkeeper Nichifor Moțoc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Cazimir Grecu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nichifor Moțoc was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Marius Tutuianu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiberiu Cordescu in the 93rd minute of play. AC Milan's Nichifor Moțoc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save AC Milan from getting a goal against them. When the match was over Avantul Sighiartau could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AC Milan throughout the match.
