This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Mihai Dobrica as he didn't even see the shot coming. Mihai Dobrica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Vlădoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The coaching staff of Progresul Bucuresti protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cătălin Șeitan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 52 minutes into the game, one of Progresul Bucuresti:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Marin Chifu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Progresul Bucuresti's Ion Dragnea got control of the ball when Mugur Gabrea tried to sneak it across the goal line.
