Nichifor Moțoc came out of the goal and Edgar Grigoriu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mihăiţă Hurezeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. But to his dismay, Edgar Grigoriu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Mihăiţă Hurezeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th match minute, Horus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Gârbovan to maneuver through the defense. AC Milan's Răzvan Bobariu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 38th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Călin Ungheanu but with some difficulty. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a rather tough play, AC Milan's Gigel Oțeteleșanu got a free kick in the 41st minute. Mihăiţă Hurezeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucian Ionașcu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Călin Ungheanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucian Ionașcu in the 52nd minute of the match. Mihăiţă Hurezeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nichifor Moțoc having to interfere. Horus's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
