Progresul Bucuresti's Ion Dragnea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Grigoriu in the 36th minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Horus's Mihăiţă Hurezeanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ion Dragnea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. In the 45th minute, David Gârbovan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Horus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7.

The wind increased when Emil Vlădoiu made the kick off in the second half. Ion Dragnea was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eusebiu Zdrehuş showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-8 in the 51 minute of play. David Gârbovan kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, David Gârbovan took a quick shot and it went in 1-9 without a chance for Ion Dragnea to make any attempt to save it. 59 minutes into the game, Horus's Eusebiu Zdrehuş nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If David Gârbovan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the game, Mihăiţă Hurezeanu lined in a short shot 1-11 behind a frustrated Ion Dragnea. Ion Dragnea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebiu Zdrehuş in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Mihăiţă Hurezeanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-12. Ion Dragnea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Progresul Bucuresti booed when Horus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihăiţă Hurezeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Eusebiu Zdrehuş notched a goal, 1-14, to the right of Progresul Bucuresti's Ion Dragnea. Ion Dragnea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Progresul Bucuresti fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Horus were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
