Spectators: 5988 (Terracing: 4749, Seating: 1224, VIP seats: 15) After a defensive mix-up in Pascal 11's zone, Octav Glodeanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorin Neagu came out of the goal and Octav Glodeanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Pascal 11 booed when FC Steaua București was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Iovanovici didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dorin Neagu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Chițu, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Dorin Neagu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Octav Glodeanu went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Chițu in the 25th minute of play forced Pascal 11's goalkeeper Dorin Neagu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Octav Glodeanu kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Dorin Neagu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Iovanovici in the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, Victor Chițu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Dorin Neagu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 36 played minutes Pascal 11 got a freekick which was hit by Nicu Şchiopu. Dorin Neagu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Octav Glodeanu's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Pascal 11's Nicu Şchiopu suffered a concussion in the 39th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 39 minutes into the game, Octav Glodeanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Steaua București's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pascal 11 the free kick. After 40 played minutes FC Steaua București got a freekick which was hit by Octav Glodeanu. After a rather tough play, FC Steaua București's Gheorghe Bărănescu got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, Victor Chițu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Horaţiu Calciu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Pascal 11 booed when FC Steaua București was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihăiţă Babarada didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the game, Dan Iovanovici recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dorin Neagu. Dan Iovanovici showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. After some careless play in the Pascal 11 defense, Nicodim Nicopol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dorin Neagu. The Pascal 11 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dorin Neagu should have stopped the shot. 70 minutes into the match, Pascal 11's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Chițu came free, but Dorin Neagu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octav Glodeanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Dorin Neagu made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Octav Glodeanu in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dorin Neagu saved Pascal 11 from getting behind. Dorin Neagu made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Octav Glodeanu sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Pascal 11 booed when FC Steaua București was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octav Glodeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute Dan Iovanovici shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorin Neagu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horaţiu Calciu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ilie Scripcaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, FC Steaua București's Dan Iovanovici ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dorin Neagu. Dorin Neagu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. FC Steaua București played a much better game than Pascal 11 and deserved their victory. The Pascal 11 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
