Silviu Ostoici showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octav Glodeanu in the 4th minute of the match. Octav Glodeanu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Silviu Ostoici when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 8 minutes, Dan Iovanovici made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Csobanos UFC's Silviu Ostoici tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Octav Glodeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Octav Glodeanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silviu Ostoici having to make a save. When Francisc Ionițoiu came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the FC Steaua București fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisc Ionițoiu couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the match, FC Steaua București's Francisc Ionițoiu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silviu Ostoici narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Octav Glodeanu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Silviu Ostoici when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Octav Glodeanus short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Silviu Ostoici to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Octav Glodeanu in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silviu Ostoici saved Csobanos UFC from getting behind. Octav Glodeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Silviu Ostoici tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandru Ignătescu's late challenge caught a FC Steaua București's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandru Ignătescu helped the player get up and apologised. The audience thought a goal was coming when Octav Glodeanu got free with Silviu Ostoici in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Csobanos UFC defense, Octav Glodeanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silviu Ostoici. The Csobanos UFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silviu Ostoici should have stopped the shot. Stelian Hăulică charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stelian Hăulică the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Csobanos UFC's Stelian Hăulică got a free kick in the 44th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Octav Glodeanu was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Iovanovici in the 51st minute of play forced Csobanos UFC's goalkeeper Silviu Ostoici to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 52 minutes into the game, Octav Glodeanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Silviu Ostoici was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Csobanos UFC defense, Dan Iovanovici kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silviu Ostoici. The Csobanos UFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silviu Ostoici should have stopped the shot. If Octav Glodeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60thth minute of the game Octav Glodeanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Csobanos UFC's Silviu Ostoici was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Csobanos UFC's zone, Victor Chițu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silviu Ostoici came out of the goal and Victor Chițu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 63 minutes into the game, FC Steaua București's Octav Glodeanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silviu Ostoici made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Silviu Ostoici came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Steaua București's Francisc Ionițoiu. But to his dismay, Francisc Ionițoiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. After some careless play in the Csobanos UFC defense, Octav Glodeanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silviu Ostoici. The Csobanos UFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silviu Ostoici should have stopped the shot. Silviu Ostoici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Iovanovici in the 82nd minute of play. Octav Glodeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silviu Ostoici having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Csobanos UFC's zone, Victor Chițu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silviu Ostoici came out of the goal and Victor Chițu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octav Glodeanu in the 88th minute of play forced Csobanos UFC's goalkeeper Silviu Ostoici to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Csobanos UFC's Iosif Pintilescu got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 96th minute, Octav Glodeanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Steaua București's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
