Spectators: 7861 (Terracing: 5897, Seating: 1808, VIP seats: 156) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Codruț Bădiliță kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihnea Donecea in the 6th minute of play forced Deyanhur Timisoara's goalkeeper Marcel Vergulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcel Vergulescu was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Alex Mestecăneanu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alex Mestecăneanu really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Octav Popeneciu in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dinu Niculescu saved MARITIME CLUB 2010 from getting behind. Manole Stolnicu charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manole Stolnicu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Deyanhur Timisoara booed when MARITIME CLUB 2010 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manole Stolnicu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Alex Mestecăneanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcel Vergulescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Codruț Bădiliță was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 27th minute. MARITIME CLUB 2010's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Marcel Vergulescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Codruț Bădiliță's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. With a little luck, Deyanhur Timisoara's Marcel Vergulescu got control of the ball when Alex Mestecăneanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Horia Dinescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Deyanhur Timisoara's Octav Popeneciu in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MARITIME CLUB 2010's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Deyanhur Timisoara defense, Alex Mestecăneanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcel Vergulescu. The Deyanhur Timisoara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcel Vergulescu should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Octav Popeneciu was the one to do the kick off. If Alex Mestecăneanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Deyanhur Timisoara's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Mestecăneanu came free, but Marcel Vergulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octav Popeneciu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the game, Octav Popeneciu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dinu Niculescu. Octav Popeneciu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-1. In the 74th minute Moise Cutieru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinu Niculescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dinu Niculescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octav Popeneciu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Mihnea Donecea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Vergulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moise Cutieru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, Deyanhur Timisoara's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Mestecăneanu came free, but Marcel Vergulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octav Popeneciu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dinu Niculescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moise Cutieru, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After 95 played minutes Deyanhur Timisoara got a freekick which was hit by Doru Druță. MARITIME CLUB 2010's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
