Spectators: 7693 (Terracing: 5771, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 153) Deyanhur Timisoara's Octav Popeneciu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute of the match, Octav Popeneciu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Horea Bălțăteanu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 7 minutes, Tiberiu Iordache managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rausor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiberiu Iordache was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 8th minute, Tiberiu Iordache got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Horea Bălțăteanu came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Deyanhur Timisoara's Moise Cutieru. But to his dismay, Moise Cutieru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Rausor's Horea Bălțăteanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octav Popeneciu in the 14th minute of play. Horea Bălțăteanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moise Cutieru in the 15th minute of play. Narcis Balaci's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Horea Bălțăteanu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Horea Bălțăteanu came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Deyanhur Timisoara's Gelu Moga. But to his dismay, Gelu Moga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Gelu Moga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Horea Bălțăteanu made a huge save. In the 34th match minute, Rausor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Magheru to maneuver through the defense. Tiberiu Iordache's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcel Vergulescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Horea Bălțăteanu was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Mugur Arieșan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mugur Arieșan really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiberiu Iordache was the one to do the kick off. Tiberiu Iordache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Vergulescu having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Rausor's Tiberiu Iordache got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the game, Alexandru Negruț was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rausor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deyanhur Timisoara the free kick. After 55 played minutes Rausor got a freekick which was hit by Alexandru Negruț. 56 minutes into the game, Deyanhur Timisoara's Mugur Arieșan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horea Bălțăteanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 59 minutes into the match, Deyanhur Timisoara's Mugur Arieșan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Horea Bălțăteanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Doru Druță notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Rausor's Horea Bălțăteanu. Horea Bălțăteanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 67 minutes into the match, Rausor's goal looked a bit too open when Moise Cutieru came free, but Horea Bălțăteanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tiberiu Iordache came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Rausor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiberiu Iordache couldn't finish the play. Horea Bălțăteanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octav Popeneciu, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After 79 minutes of play, Deyanhur Timisoara's Octav Popeneciu made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horea Bălțăteanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Horea Bălțăteanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doru Druță, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Tiberiu Iordache hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moise Cutieru in the 88th minute of play forced Rausor's goalkeeper Horea Bălțăteanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Rausor's goal looked a bit too open when Octav Popeneciu came free, but Horea Bălțăteanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Tiberiu Iordache hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiberiu Iordache scored 6-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcel Vergulescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Deyanhur Timisoara players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
