Vintilă Nasta came out of the goal and Sever Ţurcaş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8th match minute, FC Lions United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ioan Dragalina to maneuver through the defense. Vintilă Nasta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isac Frunză, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th of the match, Mădălin Barbonța tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Vintilă Nasta got in the way and made a wonderful save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Tatulici in the 17th minute of play forced AFC PunisherS™'s goalkeeper Costin Ignătoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 played minutes AFC PunisherS™ got a freekick which was hit by Nae Malcoci. Costin Ignătoiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manole Iordache in the 19th minute of the match. A hard shot by Florin Hrandabur from long distance, 36 minutes into the match, got Vintilă Nasta's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Costin Ignătoiu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damian Dima's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Mădălin Barbonța fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vintilă Nasta having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

FC Lions United's Vintilă Nasta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mădălin Barbonța in the 51st minute of play. Gavril Chibulcutean charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gavril Chibulcutean the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th match minute, FC Lions United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gigi Hoisie to maneuver through the defense. After 67 minutes of play, AFC PunisherS™'s Florin Hrandabur made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vintilă Nasta was left in no man's land by his defense there! When AFC PunisherS™'s Isac Frunză in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nae Malcoci during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Lions United booed when AFC PunisherS™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nae Malcoci didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 96 played minutes FC Lions United got a freekick which was hit by Horaţiu Blăniță. FC Lions United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
