Paul Spineanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Dragoş Gliga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manole Ghiciușca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Dragoş Gliga when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Argo getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Eric Foltea hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Paul Spineanu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dragoş Gliga, 1-1. In the 38th minute, Argo's Manole Ghiciușca ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dragoş Gliga. Dragoş Gliga yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vlad Ghițescu during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 41 played minutes Argo got a freekick which was hit by Vlad Ghițescu. When Paul Spineanu came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Argo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paul Spineanu couldn't finish the play. Manole Ghiciușca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Dragoş Gliga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manole Ghiciușca made a kick off. Dragoş Gliga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manole Ghiciușca in the 53rd minute of the match. Niculae Ghișe struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Dragoş Gliga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Argo. Basarab Matei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonard Buciuman in the 61st minute. Eric Foltea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dragoş Gliga having to interfere. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 84 played minutes Blue Pills got a freekick which was hit by Vali Bogătan. Dragoş Gliga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manole Ghiciușca in the 87th minute of play. Eric Foltea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Dragoş Gliga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paul Spineanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Argo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
