Spectators: 7722 (Terracing: 5792, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 154) Ştefan Zotincă made the kick off and thus started the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 3 minutes into the game, when Mugurel Murărașu put in a rough tackle. In the 4th minute, Mugurel Murărașu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Vacarii's Ionel Urduban slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adrian Sima. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Ştefan Zotincă took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Adrian Sima to make any attempt to save it. 17 minutes into the match, Grigore Dragomiroiu notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of FC Vacarii's Petrică Udup. Petrică Udup was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 23 minutes, Isac Barbonța managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Vacarii's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isac Barbonța was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carasova's Adrian Sima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ştefan Zotincă in the 24th minute of play. Gavril Morozan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Petrică Udup tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Petrică Udup showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigi Stamatiu in the 33rd minute of the match. Mihail Dinculescu kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Gigi Stamatiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petrică Udup having to interfere. After having played for 41 minutes, Grigore Dragomiroiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carasova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grigore Dragomiroiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Petrică Udup showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigi Stamatiu in the 42nd minute of the match. After 43 played minutes FC Vacarii got a freekick which was hit by Eric Agachi.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gigi Stamatiu made a kick off. With his leg Petrică Udup managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Carasova's Gigi Stamatiu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 55th minute, Eric Agachi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Carasova's Gigi Stamatiu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petrică Udup narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gigi Stamatiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gigi Stamatiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Vacarii's Ionel Urduban got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ştefan Zotincă might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adrian Sima. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ştefan Zotincă ran back to his position shaking his head. Gigi Stamatiu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 76th playminute. Emanuel Băbescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Petrică Udup tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, FC Vacarii's Petrică Udup got control of the ball when Gigi Stamatiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gigi Stamatiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valentin Dobrotă charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentin Dobrotă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Valentin Dobrotă kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Eduard Nisporeanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carasova's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduard Nisporeanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petrică Udup breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
