Spectators: 7670 (Terracing: 5753, Seating: 1764, VIP seats: 153) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Manole Iordache took the kick off in the first half of the match. Emil Enciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Dima in the 4th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Damian Dima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emil Enciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Șerban Păvăloae, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After having played for 15 minutes, Ioan Dragalina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Lions United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ioan Dragalina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Virgil Panciu during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 18 played minutes Fc Buzau got a freekick which was hit by Virgil Panciu. Gigi Hoisie took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emil Enciu. Fc Buzau's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Emil Enciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Dima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cezar Amărculesei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damian Dima hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Tatulici in the 38th minute of play forced Fc Buzau's goalkeeper Emil Enciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emil Enciu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manole Iordache in the 40th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Virgil Panciu to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Lions United's Damian Dima slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emil Enciu. That made the score 0-1 after 52 minutes of play. Emil Enciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manole Iordache in the 59th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damian Dima in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emil Enciu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 62 minutes into the match, Fc Buzau's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Dima came free, but Emil Enciu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexandru Cucu during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fc Buzau's Alexandru Cucu got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Emil Enciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Dima, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Fc Buzau's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Manole Iordache scored to the left of an out of position Emil Enciu, making the score, 0-2. Emil Enciu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Dima in the 73rd minute of the match. Emil Enciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigi Hoisie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emil Enciu made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Damian Dima sent off a good shot on target. 82 minutes into the match, Fc Buzau's goalkeeper Emil Enciu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Șerban Păvăloae. Damian Dima came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Emil Enciu could save by the left post. Emil Enciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manole Iordache, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 90th match minute, Fc Buzau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octav Gorjanu to maneuver through the defense. Damian Dima came free with the goalkeeper in the 92nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Emil Enciu could save by the left post. 93 minutes into the game, Damian Dima recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emil Enciu. Damian Dima showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. The Fc Buzau fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Lions United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
