Panait Zăreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the match, BOCA SIR's goal looked a bit too open when Moise Cutieru came free, but Petre Bognar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Martin Alexandroae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ion Șerbulescu during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Deyanhur Timisoara getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Ion Șerbulescu hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the match, Deyanhur Timisoara's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Alexandroae came free, but Marcel Vergulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Alexandroae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Vergulescu having to interfere. Petre Bognar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Octav Popeneciu in the 41st minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Martin Alexandroae made the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Panait Zăreanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Panait Zăreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BOCA SIR's Panait Zăreanu got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Octav Popeneciu struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Petre Bognar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deyanhur Timisoara. When Marius Răchitan fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BOCA SIR's protests and gave Marius Răchitan a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to BOCA SIR getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Marius Răchitan hit a great ball. BOCA SIR's Panait Zăreanu pulled a muscle in his leg after 76 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Eliodor Ispirescu fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deyanhur Timisoara's protests and gave Eliodor Ispirescu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of BOCA SIR booed when Deyanhur Timisoara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliodor Ispirescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Alexandroae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Vergulescu having to interfere. Dragoş Taşcu hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Octav Popeneciu in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petre Bognar saved BOCA SIR from getting behind. Deyanhur Timisoara's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
