Alex Blănaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moise Cutieru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, F.C. Ripensia Timişoara's goal looked a bit too open when Gelu Moga came free, but Alex Blănaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Octav Popeneciu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alex Blănaru was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Moise Cutieru might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alex Blănaru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Moise Cutieru ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, F.C. The supporters of Deyanhur Timisoara booed when F.C. Ripensia Timişoara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorin Enoiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Octav Popeneciu in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alex Blănaru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Deyanhur Timisoara were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing F.C. Ripensia Timişoara to leave the ground with a draw.
