Spectators: 7450 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bogdan Tudose kicked off to start the match. Denis Zogreanus short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Paul Miclescu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 4 minutes into the game, Olimpia FC's Severo Obano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paul Miclescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Denis Zogreanu did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Paul Miclescu 7 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Gloria Bistrita's Bogdan Tudose sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Belaid Nabil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Gloria Bistrita defense, Çağatay Tümel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paul Miclescu. The Gloria Bistrita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paul Miclescu should have stopped the shot. In the 21st minute Severo Obano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Miclescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gloria Bistrita's Paul Miclescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Obano in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Obano in the 24th minute of play forced Gloria Bistrita's goalkeeper Paul Miclescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Severo Obano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Paul Miclescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 31 minutes into the match, Bogdan Tudose had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Belaid Nabil. Olimpia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bogdan Tudose was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Paul Miclescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Argider in the 35th minute of play. Paul Miclescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emmanuel Obis, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the match, Gloria Bistrita's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Argider came free, but Paul Miclescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paul Miclescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Argider, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, Severo Obano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paul Miclescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Denis Zogreanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emmanuel Obis in the 52nd minute of play forced Gloria Bistrita's goalkeeper Paul Miclescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paul Miclescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Argider in the 54th minute of play. The Olimpia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-1. In the 79th minute, Severo Obano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paul Miclescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-1. 82 minutes into the game, Emmanuel Obis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-1. Paul Miclescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Paul Miclescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Zogreanu in the 90th minute of the match. Severo Obano scored 12-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paul Miclescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Olimpia FC booed when Gloria Bistrita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tudor Gruia didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Olimpia FC had played much better football throughout.
