Spectators: 7452 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1802, VIP seats: 150) Doru Morar started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 5 played minutes Schiau got a freekick which was hit by Ilie Barbălată. Nistor Zdroană got in the 9th minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Petruț Mitrea. This was a shot which ended in a score of 1-0. When Denis Zogreanu came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Olimpia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denis Zogreanu couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Schiau's zone, Luis Argider stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petruț Mitrea came out of the goal and Luis Argider tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Petruț Mitrea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Argider, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th match minute, Schiau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristinel Zgrăbunţa to maneuver through the defense. Petruț Mitrea acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 19th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nistor Zdroană. 23 minutes into the match, Schiau's goalkeeper Petruț Mitrea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Denis Zogreanu. Denis Zogreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Petruț Mitrea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denis Zogreanu made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 35thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Petruț Mitrea would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. 37 minutes into the game, Luis Argider cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Petruț Mitrea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the last second Petruț Mitrea throw himself and got hold of the ball when Luis Argider in the 43rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 43rd match minute, Schiau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavian Amuguroancei to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis Zogreanu got free with Petruț Mitrea in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olimpia FC's Mircea Stoicea quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ilie Barbălată, made in the 46th minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Denis Zogreanu made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Luis Argider had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petruț Mitrea. Schiau's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Argider was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 57th match minute, Schiau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudiu Albeanu to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Zogreanu in the 59th minute of play forced Schiau's goalkeeper Petruț Mitrea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denis Zogreanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Petruț Mitrea having to make a save. 66 minutes into the match, Olimpia FC's goalkeeper Belaid Nabil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Octavian Amuguroancei. When Olimpia FC's Luis Argider in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Schiau's goalie prevented a goal. If Denis Zogreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Petruț Mitrea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Zogreanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. If Denis Zogreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Olimpia FC booed when Schiau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavian Amuguroancei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luis Argider struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Petruț Mitrea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olimpia FC. The throw-in from Traian Trandafir in the 76th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Olimpia FC's Mircea Stoicea. If Denis Zogreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olimpia FC's Luis Argider got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Olimpia FC fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Olimpia FC's Denis Zogreanu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 90 minutes into the match, Schiau's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Zogreanu came free, but Petruț Mitrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petruț Mitrea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Denis Zogreanu's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. 95 minutes into the match, Olimpia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Doru Morar came free, but Belaid Nabil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olimpia FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
