The referee ignored BBI&REA's protests and gave Petruț Pricop a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Petruț Pricop hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Furnicosi CSM defense, Aurelian Podgoreanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Codrin Lungu. The Furnicosi CSM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Codrin Lungu should have stopped the shot. Cosmin Dragota hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelian Podgoreanu in the 23rd minute of play forced Furnicosi CSM's goalkeeper Codrin Lungu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Aurelian Podgoreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codrin Lungu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Furnicosi CSM's goal looked a bit too open when Marius Săvescu came free, but Codrin Lungu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Codrin Lungu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Almăgean, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The Furnicosi CSM players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BBI&REA were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marius Săvescu to strike the kick off in the second half. If Marius Săvescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Marius Săvescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. BBI&REA's supporters rose to their feet, but Marius Săvescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Codrin Lungu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When BBI&REA's Marius Săvescu in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. BBI&REA's Isac Săliştean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavel Șerbulea in the 66th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Pavel Șerbulea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isac Săliştean was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Gheorghe Borcea charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gheorghe Borcea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marius Săvescu in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Codrin Lungu saved Furnicosi CSM from getting behind. Isac Săliştean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavel Șerbulea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Gheorghe Borcea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Petruț Pricop sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Emil Almăgean managed to get in a good position for a shot. BBI&REA's supporters rose to their feet, but Emil Almăgean was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Codrin Lungu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. BBI&REA's Nicodim Nuțu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gheorghe Borcea, made in the 92nd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicodim Nuțu in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Codrin Lungu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Codrin Lungu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petruț Pricop in the 94th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded BBI&REA left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Furnicosi CSM.
