In the 8th minute Felix Tremurici shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niculae Petriceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergiu Bota in the 11th minute of play forced C.I.L. SIGHET -MM-'s goalkeeper Stelian Platon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dumitru Aldulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Felix Tremurici recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. C.I.L. SIGHET -MM-'s Felix Tremurici got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stelian Platon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costin Moga in the 17th minute of the match. Ionel Codrea's late challenge caught a C.I.L. SIGHET -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ionel Codrea helped the player get up and apologised. Ionel Codrea kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Ştefan Dijmărescu struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Niculae Petriceanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.I.L. SIGHET -MM-. 21 minutes into the game, Eliodor Manole cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Stelian Platon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 25 minutes into the match, Sergiu Bota notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of C.I.L. SIGHET -MM-'s Stelian Platon. Stelian Platon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stelian Platon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costin Moga in the 28th minute of the match. Stelian Platon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cezar Gherghescu in the 30th minute of play. Stelian Platon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eliodor Manole's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. In the 40thth minute of the game Sergiu Bota who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.I.L. SIGHET -MM-'s Stelian Platon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Felix Tremurici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felix Tremurici stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Costin Moga made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. C.I.L. SIGHET -MM-'s Stelian Platon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Stelian Platon was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Sergiu Bota capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sergiu Bota really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Smizi's Cezar Gherghescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stelian Platon. That made the score 0-6 after 61 minutes of play. Ştefan Dijmărescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Niculae Petriceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. C.I.L. SIGHET -MM- were furious when Ilie Pancu was red carded, 70 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 69th minute, one of C.I.L. SIGHET -MM-:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for C.I.L. SIGHET -MM-. The goalkeeper, Stelian Platon, was totally fooled by Smizi's Emanuel Buhuș, who 72 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Stelian Platon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sergiu Bota in the 75th minute. Emanuel Buhuș took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stelian Platon. C.I.L. SIGHET -MM-'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 80th minute, Eliodor Manole made a precise shot to the right of Stelian Platon. C.I.L. SIGHET -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Stelian Platon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergiu Bota in the 85th minute of the match. Stelian Platon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergiu Bota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the game, C.I.L. Eliodor Manole could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Stelian Platon made a huge save. Stelian Platon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costin Moga, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliodor Manole got free with Stelian Platon in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
