Karakoium's Dinu Buznea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ştefan Dijmărescu in the 3rd minute of play. After having played for 10 minutes, Dumitru Aldulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.I.L. SIGHET -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Dumitru Aldulescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gheorghe Manu struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Dinu Buznea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.I.L. SIGHET -MM-. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ştefan Dijmărescu in the 18th minute of play forced Karakoium's goalkeeper Dinu Buznea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dinu Buznea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Tremurici, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dumitru Aldulescu in the 26th minute of play forced Karakoium's goalkeeper Dinu Buznea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Karakoium's Pavel Goma got a free kick in the 28th minute. C.I.L. SIGHET -MM-'s Felix Tremurici got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olimpiu Jder hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Gheorghe Manu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute Dumitru Aldulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinu Buznea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabian Baldu got free with Stelian Platon in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 39 minutes into the game, Pavel Goma was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karakoium's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.I.L. SIGHET -MM- the free kick. A collision led to Karakoium getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Pavel Goma hit a great ball. Emanuel Ghimpu's late challenge caught a C.I.L. SIGHET -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Ghimpu helped the player get up and apologised. Karakoium's Dinu Buznea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gheorghe Manu in the 45th minute of play. The supporters of C.I.L. SIGHET -MM- booed when Karakoium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Baldu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vali Lucan to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Filip Isopescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.I.L. SIGHET -MM-'s Stelian Platon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. C.I.L. SIGHET -MM-'s Gheorghe Manu got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Vali Lucan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dumitru Aldulescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dinu Buznea having to make a save. After a rather tough play, C.I.L. SIGHET -MM-'s Gheorghe Manu got a free kick in the 67th minute. Karakoium's Dinu Buznea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dumitru Aldulescu in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vali Lucan in the 78th minute of play forced C.I.L. SIGHET -MM-'s goalkeeper Stelian Platon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, C.I.L. SIGHET -MM-'s Dinu Buznea threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dumitru Aldulescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. C.I.L. SIGHET -MM-'s Gheorghe Manu got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to C.I.L. SIGHET -MM- getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Octavian Horia hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in C.I.L. SIGHET -MM-'s zone, Filip Isopescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stelian Platon came out of the goal and Filip Isopescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 95 played minutes C.I.L. SIGHET -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Horaţiu Nica. Stelian Platon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Ghimpu in the 96th minute of play.
