In the 35th minute Bart-Jan Maerschalk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Loga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Diamantino Golem kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabian Loga. That made the score 2-1 in the 39 minute of play. In the 47th minute, Casio Banat Vest's Bart-Jan Maerschalk ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fabian Loga. Fabian Loga yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mircea Magheran was the one to do the kick off. Mircea Magheran scored 4-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabian Loga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Casio Banat Vest's Mikki Jungling suffered a sore thigh after 60 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Horea Carp during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Horea Carp hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Casio Banat Vest's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Nistrea's zone, Mircea Magheran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabian Loga came out of the goal and Mircea Magheran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabian Loga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diamantino Golem went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mircea Magheran in the 85th minute of play forced Nistrea's goalkeeper Fabian Loga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Casio Banat Vest's Mircea Magheran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabian Loga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Fabian Loga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mircea Magheran, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Fabian Loga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diamantino Golem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Mircea Magheran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabian Loga was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mircea Magheran in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabian Loga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There was no doubt that Casio Banat Vest were the better team. Casio Banat Vest's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
