Eliodor Manole could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Felix Agachi made a huge save. The supporters of Smizi booed when FC Stiinta Corabia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavel Neagoe didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, FC Stiinta Corabia's Felix Agachi got control of the ball when Eliodor Manole tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Eliodor Manole got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Andrei Caranfil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. After a rather tough play, Smizi's Costin Moga got a free kick in the 17th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Andrei Caranfil managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Stiinta Corabia's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrei Caranfil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niculae Petriceanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Niculae Petriceanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marin Tărbac went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Costin Moga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Felix Agachi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Costin Moga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A beautiful save bye FC Stiinta Corabia's goalie prevented a goal. Filip Barboni hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Marin Tărbac's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Niculae Petriceanu was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. In the 44th minute Costin Moga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Agachi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Smizi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Stiinta Corabia were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Costin Moga to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Costin Moga in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felix Agachi saved FC Stiinta Corabia from getting behind. If Eliodor Manole had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pavel Fecioru's late challenge caught a Smizi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pavel Fecioru helped the player get up and apologised. Eliodor Manole sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eliodor Manole blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felix Agachi having to make a save. Felix Agachi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliodor Manole in the 66th minute of the match. If Costin Moga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marin Tărbac got free with Niculae Petriceanu in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Smizi's Eliodor Manole got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felix Agachi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliodor Manole in the 82nd minute of the match. Andrei Caranfil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Niculae Petriceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
