Spectators: 7714 (Terracing: 5787, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) Ruginoasa FC's Mihai Răducu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fabian Loga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihai Răducu, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. When Mihail Romaşcanu fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nistrea's protests and gave Mihail Romaşcanu a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes Nistrea got a freekick which was hit by Mihail Romaşcanu. Nistrea's Fabian Loga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Paulescu in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Răzvan Vintilă in the 28th minute of play forced Ruginoasa FC's goalkeeper Mihnea Aanuţei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Emanuel Iurea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Mihuleac hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute Mihai Răducu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Loga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. They were losing 1-3.

The wind increased when Răzvan Vintilă made the kick off in the second half. Răzvan Vintilă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihnea Aanuţei having to interfere. In the 57thth minute of the game Răzvan Vintilă who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ruginoasa FC's Mihnea Aanuţei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anton Paulescu hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Răzvan Vintilă in the 64th minute of play forced Ruginoasa FC's goalkeeper Mihnea Aanuţei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Mihai Răducu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute, Mihai Răducu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. A collision led to Nistrea getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Sorin Pacuraru hit a great ball. In the 87thth minute of the game Mihai Răducu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nistrea's Fabian Loga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 91 minutes, Doru Tunaru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nistrea and the Ruginoasa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Nistrea's Doru Tunaru got a free kick in the 91st minute. 94 minutes into the match, Nistrea's goalkeeper Fabian Loga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciprian Potopea. In the 98th match minute, Nistrea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sorin Pacuraru to maneuver through the defense. The Ruginoasa FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ruginoasa FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
