Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Mircea Magheran made the kick off and thus started the match. Ruginoasa FC's Mihai Răducu got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 9 minutes into the game, Toader Dobrinescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ruginoasa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Casio Banat Vest the free kick. Ruginoasa FC's Mihnea Aanuţei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mircea Magheran in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute Bart-Jan Maerschalk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihnea Aanuţei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Diamantino Golem came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Casio Banat Vest fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diamantino Golem couldn't finish the play. In the 17th match minute, Casio Banat Vest was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mircea Magheran to maneuver through the defense. After 21 played minutes Casio Banat Vest got a freekick which was hit by Gheorghe Novacovici. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicodim Zota during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Casio Banat Vest booed when Ruginoasa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicodim Zota didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruginoasa FC's Mihnea Aanuţei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mircea Magheran in the 26th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Ciprian Potopea could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Felix Mavrodin however easily saved by the left post. In the 38th minute of the match Nicodim Zota shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felix Mavrodin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mircea Magheran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the game, Casio Banat Vest's Mircea Magheran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mihnea Aanuţei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 53rd minute Casio Banat Vest were awarded a corner. Olgierd Ankiewicz went to the cornerflag to take it. Olgierd Ankiewicz made a great header on Casio Banat Vest's corner, it was just that Ruginoasa FC's Mihnea Aanuţei managed to reach the ball for a save. Mircea Magheran did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Mihnea Aanuţei 57 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Ruginoasa FC's Mihnea Aanuţei got control of the ball when Mircea Magheran tried to sneak it across the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Diamantino Golem recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mihnea Aanuţei. Diamantino Golem showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. In the 85th minute, Mircea Magheran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the game, Casio Banat Vest's Mircea Magheran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mihnea Aanuţei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Mihai Răducu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felix Mavrodin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. When the match was over Casio Banat Vest could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ruginoasa FC throughout the match.
