The audience thought a goal was coming when Mircea Magheran got free with Calistrat Budișteanu in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Calistrat Budișteanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mircea Magheran in the 10th minute. Casio Banat Vest's Felix Mavrodin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornel Tăzlăuanu in the 17th minute of play. Felix Mavrodin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vintilă Jivulescu went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 24 minutes, Mircea Magheran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Casio Banat Vest's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mircea Magheran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute, Nicolae Balaban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Calistrat Budișteanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diamantino Golem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the game, Gilberto Orlan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Casio Banat Vest's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fc Steaua Bucuresti GHE the free kick. Gilberto Orlan hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Casio Banat Vest's zone, Cornel Tăzlăuanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Mavrodin came out of the goal and Cornel Tăzlăuanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 33 played minutes Casio Banat Vest got a freekick which was hit by Olgierd Ankiewicz. 34 minutes into the match, Mircea Magheran notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Fc Steaua Bucuresti GHE's Calistrat Budișteanu. Calistrat Budișteanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fc Steaua Bucuresti GHE's Cornel Tăzlăuanu got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Mircea Magheran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Casio Banat Vest fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Calistrat Budișteanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diamantino Golem, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cornel Tăzlăuanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Azevedo during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Miguel Azevedo hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Felix Mavrodin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornel Tăzlăuanu in the 59th minute of the match. The supporters of Fc Steaua Bucuresti GHE booed when Casio Banat Vest was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olgierd Ankiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Casio Banat Vest's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Cornel Tăzlăuanu scored to the left of an out of position Felix Mavrodin, making the score, 2-2. Calistrat Budișteanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bart-Jan Maerschalk in the 66th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Fc Steaua Bucuresti GHE's goal looked a bit too open when Mircea Magheran came free, but Calistrat Budișteanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mircea Magheran struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Calistrat Budișteanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Casio Banat Vest. Calistrat Budișteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diamantino Golem in the 72nd minute of the match. Vasile Oprița hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the game, Mircea Magheran cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Calistrat Budișteanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Felix Mavrodin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornel Tăzlăuanu in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Casio Banat Vest's Mircea Magheran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Calistrat Budișteanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. In the 89th minute Mircea Magheran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calistrat Budișteanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calistrat Budișteanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mircea Magheran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olgierd Ankiewicz hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Bart-Jan Maerschalk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Casio Banat Vest fully deserved thier win.
