When Andrei Caranfil fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Stiinta Corabia's protests and gave Andrei Caranfil a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Stiinta Corabia getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Andrei Caranfil hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, FC Stiinta Corabia's Pavel Neagoe got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Horea Carp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nistrea's supporters rose to their feet, but Horea Carp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Agachi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 41 minutes into the match, FC Stiinta Corabia's goal looked a bit too open when Răzvan Vintilă came free, but Felix Agachi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 played minutes Nistrea got a freekick which was hit by Ionel Chesaru. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Răzvan Vintilă managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nistrea's supporters rose to their feet, but Răzvan Vintilă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Agachi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Răzvan Vintilă to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Pavel Fecioru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 54 minutes, Mihail Romaşcanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nistrea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mihail Romaşcanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Nistrea fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Nistrea's Răzvan Vintilă looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Felix Agachi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Răzvan Vintilă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Agachi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Iurea's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionuț Glăvan in the 67th minute of play forced Nistrea's goalkeeper Fabian Loga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Agachi was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Marin Tărbac got free with Fabian Loga in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 96 played minutes FC Stiinta Corabia got a freekick which was hit by Mihai Arotăriței. Nistrea's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
