Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sever Mihăileanu made the kick off which started today's match. If Mircea Magheran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mircea Magheran in the 13th minute of play forced Rachitis's goalkeeper Marcu Tofan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Mavrodin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sever Mihăileanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The audience was convinced that Sever Mihăileanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felix Mavrodin was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. After having played for 31 minutes, Bart-Jan Maerschalk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Casio Banat Vest's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bart-Jan Maerschalk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mircea Magheran scored 0-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcu Tofan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mircea Magheran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcu Tofan having to interfere. With a little luck, Casio Banat Vest's Felix Mavrodin got control of the ball when Valeriu Dobrițoiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Olgierd Ankiewicz hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute Sever Mihăileanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Mavrodin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Rachitis players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Casio Banat Vest were winning 0-1.

53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rachitis's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Olgierd Ankiewicz was slow to take the kick. During this time Casio Banat Vest's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Olgierd Ankiewicz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rachitis's Marcu Tofan did a great save. After some careless play in the Rachitis defense, Mircea Magheran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcu Tofan. The Rachitis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcu Tofan should have stopped the shot. Mircea Magheran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Marcu Tofan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes in the game, Mircea Magheran fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Marcu Tofan having to interfere. Mircea Magheran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcu Tofan having to interfere. Diamantino Golem's late challenge caught a Rachitis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. A very good chance. Rachitis's Marcu Tofan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bart-Jan Maerschalk in the 95th minute of play. Mircea Magheran struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Marcu Tofan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Casio Banat Vest. Casio Banat Vest played a much better game than Rachitis and deserved their victory. The Rachitis players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
