The referee ignored -PSC- UFC Dridu's protests and gave Ionel Antim a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, -PSC- UFC Dridu's Ionel Antim got a free kick in the 6th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Calistrat Stănciulaş recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aron Moșneanu. Calistrat Stănciulaş showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Grigore Năsturel got free with Aron Moșneanu in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, -PSC- UFC Dridu's Aron Moșneanu got control of the ball when Andrei Vasilică tried to sneak it across the goal line. Calistrat Stănciulaş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. GSBC Cluj-Napoca's Mircea Udroiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avram Iorda in the 23rd minute of play. -PSC- UFC Dridu's Aron Moșneanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save -PSC- UFC Dridu from getting a goal against them. Aron Moșneanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calistrat Stănciulaş, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Grigore Năsturel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andrei Vasilică hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. -PSC- UFC Dridu's Fabian Anastasiu got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aron Moșneanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grigore Năsturel in the 37th minute. In the 44th match minute, GSBC Cluj-Napoca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigore Năsturel to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute Avram Iorda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mircea Udroiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. GSBC Cluj-Napoca's Mircea Udroiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avram Iorda in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Grigore Năsturel to strike the kick off in the second half. Aron Moșneanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Grigore Năsturel went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Mircea Udroiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Avram Iorda in the 57th minute of the match. Aron Moșneanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrei Vasilică, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Grigore Năsturel struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Aron Moșneanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GSBC Cluj-Napoca. Grigore Năsturel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aron Moșneanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrei Vasilică's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. 76 minutes into the game, Grigore Năsturel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Aron Moșneanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Grigore Năsturel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Moșneanu having to interfere. Fabian Anastasiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Mircea Udroiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that GSBC Cluj-Napoca were the better team. GSBC Cluj-Napoca's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
