Sportul Studentesc's Filip Pora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristinel Buda in the 46th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristinel Buda made a kick off. The supporters of Sportul Studentesc booed when Sarafinesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavel Pădure didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sarafinesti's Costel Patriciu got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st minute Costel Patriciu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Pora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Alperen Korur cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Andrei Bântu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alperen Korur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Andrei Bântu made a huge save. 78 minutes into the match, Cristinel Buda notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Sportul Studentesc's Filip Pora. Filip Pora was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Sportul Studentesc booed when Sarafinesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Codrin Iovan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alperen Korur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andrei Bântu having to make a save. In the 86th minute, João Guedes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sarafinesti's Andrei Bântu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Sarafinesti from getting a goal against them. 88 minutes into the game, João Guedes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Andrei Bântu. João Guedes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Gelu Maleș lost his temper 93 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sportul Studentesc fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! Sportul Studentesc played a much better game than Sarafinesti and deserved their victory. The Sarafinesti players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
