When Red Blue Lions-returns's Dorin Mălaimare in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye UTA Arad's goalie prevented a goal. 9 minutes into the match, UTA Arad's goal looked a bit too open when Dorin Mălaimare came free, but Matei Gârdan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matei Gârdan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorin Mălaimare in the 9th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dorin Mălaimare in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matei Gârdan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dorin Mălaimare kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Dorin Mălaimare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matei Gârdan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Red Blue Lions-returns's Dorin Mălaimare in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye UTA Arad's goalie prevented a goal. In the 21st minute, Dorin Mălaimare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute, Stelian Radovan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matei Gârdan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 26 minutes into the match, Dorin Mălaimare had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matei Gârdan. UTA Arad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dorin Mălaimare was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After some careless play in the UTA Arad defense, Qu Yan Nan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matei Gârdan. The UTA Arad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matei Gârdan should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Dorin Mălaimare sped through UTA Arad's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Matei Gârdan. Matei Gârdan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorin Mălaimare, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cazimir Dimofte made a kick off. UTA Arad's Cazimir Dimofte got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matei Gârdan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stelian Radovan, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. If Dorin Mălaimare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Qu Yan Nan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Matei Gârdan came out and tried to block the shot, but Qu Yan Nan slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 65th minute. With his leg Matei Gârdan managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Red Blue Lions-returns's Dorin Mălaimare fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 74 played minutes UTA Arad got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Ispas. Dorin Mălaimare in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Matei Gârdan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Red Blue Lions-returns's Dorin Mălaimare got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dorin Mălaimare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matei Gârdan having to interfere. Matei Gârdan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorin Mălaimare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 minutes, Marcu Ciobanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UTA Arad and the Red Blue Lions-returns players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Red Blue Lions-returns booed when UTA Arad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcu Ciobanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dorin Mălaimare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nichifor Pantea kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Dorin Mălaimare recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Martin Cojocaru hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Red Blue Lions-returns's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
