The referee showed Gheorghe Murgan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gheorghe Murgan was extremely unlucky when he, in the 24th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 27 played minutes Dersida AFC got a freekick which was hit by Vintilă Bărcăuan. -PSC- UFC Dridu's Aron Moșneanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save -PSC- UFC Dridu from getting a goal against them. Gheorghe Murgan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Moșneanu having to interfere. Gheorghe Murgan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Aron Moșneanu made a huge save. Aron Moșneanu was a little too slow when Costin Todoran got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 3-0. Costin Todoran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Moșneanu having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Dersida AFC's Gheorghe Murgan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aron Moșneanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Avram Iorda to strike the kick off in the second half. If Costin Todoran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gheorghe Murgan in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aron Moșneanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nechifor Vâtcă charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Dersida AFC booed when -PSC- UFC Dridu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nechifor Vâtcă didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78thth minute of the game Gheorghe Murgan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but -PSC- UFC Dridu's Aron Moșneanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aron Moșneanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costin Todoran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aron Moșneanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costin Todoran in the 87th minute of play. If Costin Todoran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute.
