Spectators: 7716 (Terracing: 5788, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 154) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dan Caranică took the kick off in the first half of the match. Lucian Răduța recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cosmin Nenițescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Aristide Ciompec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cosmin Nenițescu struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Aristide Ciompec didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Varsand. Cosmin Nenițescu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Aristide Ciompec when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Iustin Panaitoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Dorel Aaxiniei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Dan Caranică got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Cosmin Nenițescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aristide Ciompec was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Aristide Ciompec made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dorel Aaxiniei in the 22nd minute. After 24 minutes, Dan Caranică mouthed his way into the referee's book. Aristide Ciompec was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Caranică in the 35th minute of play forced Varsand's goalkeeper Marin Stoicu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Bulă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cosmin Nenițescu in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aristide Ciompec saved CSM ALEXANDRIA from getting behind. A collision led to CSM ALEXANDRIA getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Iustin Panaitoiu hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cosmin Nenițescu in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aristide Ciompec prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dorel Aaxiniei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. When Martin Bulă fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CSM ALEXANDRIA's protests and gave Martin Bulă a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th minute, Martin Bulă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aristide Ciompec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosmin Nenițescu in the 62nd minute of play. Lucian Posteucă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Aristide Ciompec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Bulă blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marin Stoicu having to make a save. Valer Ielciu kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Albert Druță fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 68th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cosmin Nenițescu in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 75th minute Martin Bulă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marin Stoicu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Varsand's Cosmin Nenițescu in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CSM ALEXANDRIA's goalie prevented a goal. In the 80th minute, Lucian Posteucă got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aristide Ciompec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucian Posteucă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Martin Bulă took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Marin Stoicu to make any attempt to save it. When Varsand's Cosmin Nenițescu in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CSM ALEXANDRIA's goalie prevented a goal. If Martin Bulă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The CSM ALEXANDRIA players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Varsand from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
